My career initially started with at-risk youth recreation programs. Being passionate about youth advocacy, I completed a B.A. and M.A. in Family Studies and Developmental Psychology from the University of British Columbia. I started out examining the impact of parent-child dynamics on attachment and autonomy development in young children. After a decade of working with families in the provincial court system, I returned to school and completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Today, I continue to look for ways to help families cultivate and maintain healthy relationships.
